I am, in Israeli terms, chardal, and I place great value on following halacha even when it may not be the most comfortable. However, I appreciate a laid-back personality. Though I value both religious and secular education, I also value individual approaches to serving Hashem, and I am always striving to grow through small steps. My family encourages endless questions until understanding is achieved. We enjoy various hobbies, such as SCUBA diving, experimenting in the kitchen, and bonding over our current books of various genres. I enjoy exploring and learning about different cultures and learning new languages. Currently, I am working on improving my Hebrew. I plan to make Aliyah (hopefully in the next 5 years) and help people with their health through food, culture, and scientific research. In addition to studying food science, I am a board-certified health and wellness coach.
I am looking for an intelligent, proactive man with a strong Torah foundation who learns and goes to minyan daily. He should have a solid occupation outside of Torah and be open-minded. He must be an independent thinker and should want to build a home where children are raised to think independently, learning and growing from their questions. I am unwilling to date someone who smokes. He should be between 2 years younger and 4 years older than me and at least the same level of religiosity as me. He should be open to experiencing other cultures through media and travel and be eager to explore new things. He should also be willing to live in Israel. Lastly, I prefer him to be clean-shaven. It would be amazing if he were active within his community, adventurous, and multilingual.
