I am an active, young-at-heart, empty-nester widower. My identity is a "Yeshiva-Modern" blend of Torah commitment and modern engagement. As the son of an American born Litvish father and a Canadian Polish-born mother of Chasidishe heritage—and having shared 42 years with my late wife, a Yerushalmi Sabra—I’ve gained a rich, global perspective on Jewish life. This background reflects a unique balance: • Torah Foundations: Years of intensive study in premier Yeshivos in both Eretz Yisrael and the US, including Smicha and the opportunity to engage first hand with generational Torah giants. • Secular Professionalism: A Bachelor’s in Computer Science led to a fulfilling, decades-long career as an IT professional in corporate America, where I spent decades navigating the fast-paced world of technology. Passions & Interests My outlook is firmly Torah-centric yet does not preclude embracing the beauty and innovation of the world around us. • Intellectual Life: I find genuine joy in a deep Gemara/Halacha Shiur and compelling Torah literature. I’m also fascinated and follow advances in technology and AI, financial markets, global and Jewish affairs and appreciate great books. • Family: I enjoy spending quality time with my children and grandchildren and would welcome my partner's family as well. • Perspective: I grew up and still reside in Boro Park (though it’s a totally different neighborhood from that of my youth) and am fully open to relocating.
