Yoni just turned 26. He’s Canadian but lives in Monsey because Toronto isn’t a good place for singles and he’s been living in the States since Lander college. He cannot work legally BUT he is in the country legally. He’s found workarounds to earn parnasah. He has a company and works for a fitness company. He has a finance degree. He’s incredibly creative (art, music etc) . He's very hard working and the fact that he’s able to do what he’s doing now in Monsey with his status is a testament to that. He lives on his own in a basement apartment where he cooks, cleans etc. He is very marriage minded. He wants nothing more than to get married and have a family. Hashkafically he is a frum boy. He davens with a minyan, learns daily and runs a nightly chaburah. He is very close with his Rebbe and always asks daas Torah. He wears a white shirt on Shabbos but does not wear a hat. During the week he wears casual clothes like polo t shirts. But he does not wear jeans or shorts. He is very down to earth. He is a bit of an idealist- valuing true Torah lifestyle and doesn’t want a fancy life. He has a great sense of humour. He loves spending time with his friends and family. He enjoys board games, nature and just doing simple things. He is very easy going but not laid back. He has a lot of emunah and believes that he does his hishtadlus and the rest is up to Hashem
A down to earth girl. Someone put together (Zara, h and m type) but not someone who shopping and eating out defines her. He is okay with selective watching and non Jewish music within appropriate guidelines. Someone petite and thin. He’s 5’7. A girl who has real emunah and is a positive person. Someone growth oriented. She should always dress tzniously (leg coverings not required if that’s what her community holds). She should be warm and loving. Someone who is not career oriented (like not someone driven by that), and prefers someone with a job/career that would allow her to be a mother first and foremost. Out of town is usually a good fit for him. Someone from a healthy family but he is okay with someone who went through a challenge and is stronger because of it not in spite of it. He’s okay up to 2-3 years older and divorced as long as no kids. He is comfortable with a girl who wants to relocate as long as there’s a good community to raise a family. He is very careful with his speech (Loshon hora, language in general) so it’s important that she speaks not sarcastically and not negatively about people. Really just a sweet kind, chilled Bais Yaakov girl.
